Dafne Rizzo
During her studies, Dafne gained a multidisciplinary education on the world of food, first with a bachelor's degree at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo and then with a European master's degree on Traditional Food Products.
Born in Turin, Italy, on February 19, 1999, she has tackled different fields during her academic career: from chemistry to history, passing through agronomy and marketing; but the one that has most fascinated her has been anthropological research on traditional agricultural knowledge.
She was lucky enough to visit and live in several countries around the world, including Romania, France, and Indonesia, and wherever she went, her favorite places were markets. She never got tired of going to discover and taste local varieties of fruits and vegetables and all kinds of preserves.
In addition to food, Daphne is passionate about flea markets, photography, film, and textiles.
