Serena Brogi 

Serena has a deep connection to the land, having grown up with her paternal grandparents in the countryside. She has four sisters who still work in the family business producing wine. At home, they have always grown their own food, and Serena has a garden that continues the tradition of providing her family with homegrown fruits and vegetables.

After working on the family estate and in restaurants as a kitchen assistant, in 2022 she co-founded La Bottega in Castell'Azzara with Giada, and she realized she had found her “place.”

Serena grew up in Venturina Terme, in the province of Livorno, but now lives in Castell'Azzara. Her whole family shares a passion for food: her husband Roberto hunts for truffles in the hills behind Castell'Azzara, and their two sons, Emanuele and Gabriele, help prepare the family meals.
